Larderello
Having had the chance to try out a Kase ND1000 filter thanks to Giada and Universo Foto Firenze, I wanted to experiment with daytime long exposures. Inspired by the work of @michaelkennaphoto, I decided to visit Larderello, home to the cooling towers of the geothermal energy plants. Using a polarizer allowed me to achieve the necessary contrast between the steam's vapor and the sky.
I’m fascinated by the industrial nature of these sites, where the precise architecture of the towers and pipes contrasts sharply with the soft landscape made of rolling hills and trees swaying in the wind.
