Arctic
Thanks to my previous work as a PhD student, I had the opportunity to join a scientific expedition and spend a month in the Arctic during summer. It was the season of the midnight sun — the light never faded, only shifted slowly, revealing subtle and unexpected tones.

I was struck by the vastness of the sea, with the distant silhouettes of the Svalbard archipelago rising from the horizon, their glaciers bright white Seen from above, the ice drew awesome and ever-changing maps, marked by the stark contrast between white and deep blue. At night, the low sun painted the sky with hues of gold, pink, and orange — some of the most spectacular images I’ve ever witnessed.
